Robert Klara Pearls

One day, as I was listening to music and writing an email to a customer, a strange thing happened to me, it was like a dream.  I saw the most beautiful girl come into focus out of a mist. I saw this girl dancing. She was dressed in a hippy skirt and surrounded by flowers.  The next thing I saw was us dancing together in slow motion under the moonlit sky and then she vanished into thin air. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life.  It took me several days to realize that there might be chance that I might meet this girl of my dreams. Months later, a close friend gave me a wonderful green pear shaped Tahitian pearl.  As the time passed, I came upon the crazy idea to make a leather Tahitian pearl necklace for the girl from my dream in the hope that I would welcome her into my life.

I know it all sounds really crazy but, months later I met the girl from my dream!  The moment I opened the door and saw her hippy girl smile, the same smile as in my dream, I knew who she was and what the purpose of her visit was.  I saw her parked car behind her, painted in flowers and peace signs. I invited her in and we talked for hours, I also told her about the dancing girl in my dream. Out of nowhere she said. “I think the girl in your dream is me, I graduated to ballet.”  We kissed and that night I gave her the Tahitian pearl necklace. We are now married and we are raising two wonderful children and yes, everything I saw in the dream came true!

The gift of the Tahitian pearl that came from our best man was a key part in this chain of events that resulted in our concept of www.robertklara.love. We were really mesmerised by wearing the Tahitian pearls. The color, the luster, and the size of these pearls, is all unique. Klara is a nurse specialised in heart catheterization, this means she can not wear our Tahitian pearl necklace everyday.  On those days, we share the necklace. It still looks and feels amazing after all these years.  

It took us some time to find good suppliers, even though the Kool family started their jewelry shop in 1860.
Our first Tahitian pearls supplier was a diamond supplier for our company, Kool Design. There we bought our first Tahitian pearls and started to design and to make bracelets, pendants, and necklaces only for our personal use and joy. 

We were really surprised by all the comments and compliments that we got from friends and colleagues.  It made us realise that we could combine our lifestyle, hobbies, and our work into a great opportunity and design our own leather and pearl jewelry. To be able to design our first pieces, with no restrictions, and to have total creative freedom with our designs, with the material, and shapes was an amazing experience! We presented our pieces at befriended jewelry stores, and they loved it!

From there we went to Ibiza to celebrate life and the creative wave we were riding on.  As they say, “nothing in life happens without a reason.” The next day we met our friend and model Gabrielle Perez in Ibiza. That same night in club Space, I asked Klara to marry me! 

It all started with a daydream and it ended with love 

We are at the beginning of a great new adventure, where we can express ourselves through jewelry-design, music and dance. We like to share our lives and adventures searching for that one perfect pearl.
